Ankle pain, knee pain, hip pain, you name it and chances are, equestrians have it. Personally, at age 22, I don’t feel like my knees should feel like those of a 75-year-old woman. Recently, I’ve been on a personal mission to treat this joint pain and slowly updating my equipment to improve my comfort in the tack.

The tread on the footbed is just right, not making me feel “stuck” in my stirrups, so I can easily adjust. The mobility of the footbed is subtle, but enough to help those of us with tight ankles keep our heels down where they should be.
