Product Review: Belt It Out Goods, A Belt For Every Rider
I’m the type of person who, if my pants or breeches have belt loops, I MUST wear a belt with that outfit.
Now, this says more about me than anything else. But as such, these neuroses have spurred an enormous belt collection over the years.
I think a good belt goes a long way in pulling a riding outfit together. It’s a way to offer a pop of color or personality in traditional riding colors or styles, especially on show day. I even have a few belts in my collection I consider “lucky” – fun ones that I was wear when I won a big class or division that now I MUST wear in the show ring every time to keep the good luck going.
My latest belt obsession comes from a small, women-owned business called Belt It Out Goods.
Handmade by Madelyn, the vision behind the company, these belts began with love. Madelyn first crafted the belts for her horseback riding sister and the idea took off from there. Belt It Out Goods offers new styles and colors every season, with gorgeous clasp hardware to choose from.
The material offers ample stretch and comes in solids, sparkles, striped, woven, animal print and seasonal collections. You can truly go wild with picking colors and patterns that match your style. The belts are stylish enough to pair with breeches for riding or with jeans or a skirt for a night out.
And best of all, they are affordable. It’s easy to splurge on a variety of looks because of the price point.
I’m in a big “beige” trend right now. Taupe. Cream. So naturally my favorite color from Belt It Out Goods is part of their winter collection, the Cafe Latte. It matches perfectly with a new show coat, bonnet and saddle pad set I bought for the 2025 show season. The hope is it’ll become my new lucky show belt.
A fresh look from Belt It Out Goods would make an excellent gift for your barn bestie or even your trainer. With so many designs and looks to choose from, it’s easy to find a handful that speaks to directly to your style!
