After representing his birth country of Columbia for eight years in competition, two-time Olympic show jumper Daniel Bluman changed nationalities in the winter of 2016 to compete for Israel. It’s the country he says he’s always felt most connected to, as he grew up in Hebrew school and his late grandfather endured three years in Auschwitz during the Holocaust.
Knowing all that his grandfather endured, Daniel explains, has shaped every aspect of his life.
