Develop Your Eye for Lameness, Presented by Wahl

The ability to spot lameness when it crops up is a useful skill that can be practiced and improved. Luckily, we don’t have to be exceptional at spotting lameness in horses because we have veterinarians that have spent years and years studying, observing and treating equine lameness. But the ability to see which leg is causing the horse problems can be useful information to pass on to your vet, and watching videos is a great way to develop your eye.

In this video, a horse is jogged and lunged without any commentary at first. Can you spot which leg the horse is favoring? Then, a vet explains what to look for when watching a lameness workup and you can check your answer!
