Wunderkind Bertram Allen’s prized gelding Quiet Easy 4 has been sold and will now be ridden by Norwegian rider Johan Sebastian Gulliksen. The 13-year old Oldenburg gelding by Quidam’s Rubin was purchased from Quainton Stud by the Norwegian Gjelsten family.

“Rory”, as Quiet Easy 4 is known in the barn, has been one of Allen’s top horses over the last few years, achieving many wins together including winning the 5* 1.55m Audi Prize at ‘s-Hertogenbosch as well as the 5* 1.45m win in LGCT Mexico City.

Quiet Easy 4 was previously shown by the likes of Ben Maher (GBR), Chloe Aston (GBR) and Angelica Augustsson (SWE) before Allen took Rory’s reins in 2015.

A young rider himself at just 21 years old, Johan Sebastian Gulliksen is ranked 83rd in the FEI World Cup Jumping Standings and 264th in the Longines Rankings. Taking the ride on this talented and experienced mount is sure to move Gulliksen up the rankings and has the potential to skyrocket his career on the international scene.
