Heels Down Media is currently offering the following internships to motivated individuals who want to join a dynamic publishing company and get a leg up in the equestrian industry:

Web Editor Internship

Assist editor-in-chief in gathering and editing web articles. Prepare blogging and publishing schedule. Help discover new talent. Requirements: Knowledge of WordPress. Must love to write, have excellent grammar and proofreading skills. Ideal for student who aspires to an editorial position in media. January-April 2016.

Digital Marketing and Social Media Internship

Develop and implement a strategy to build engagement and grow social media channels. Develop creative concepts, images and copy for digital campaigns. Requirements: Creative, professional online presence. Understanding of social media and digital trends. Ideal for marketing, advertising student. January-April 2016.

Journalism and Creative Writing Internship

Write articles and blog posts for the various media channels. Could cover horse shows and conduct interviews. Requirements: Must love to write, have *some* body of work (blog posts, articles) and have excellent grammar. Ideal for journalism, English, communications student or similar. Knowledge of WordPress a plus. January-April 2016.

Compensation: academic credit. Positions are remote and part-time. They could become paid positions at the end of the internship.
