From Boyd Martin to Doug Payne, Jennie Brannigan on Cambalda and Colleen Rutledge on Shiraz, a who’s who of eventers are taking part in tonight’s $50,000 Arena Eventing class at the Devon Horse Show. The first round will take horse and rider through both the Gold Ring and Dixon Oval. Faults will be given for knockdowns and exceeding the maximum time. There will be a jump-off over a shortened course in the Dixon Oval for all those going clean in the first round. The length ofhe course will be 1,000 meters, and will feature about 25 jumps. Approximately 15 jumps will be cross country fences. The remaining will be show jumps. The course is designed by Captain Mark Phillips.
Speed 450m/min Fences 1.20m – brush up to 1.40m – spreads up to 1.60m
